So, as many of us sailors know, Navy Shellback Initiation is dying. I really think this ceremony is going to go before chief’s initiation and some would argue that it has already gone away. I’m starting a new photo gallery and want to add pictures of various shellback initiations throughout history. IM ONLY BEEN IN THE NAVY 3 YEARS I STARTED IN A FRIGATE DOWN IN FLORIDA AND IM A PROUD SHELLBACK, STARTED AS UNDES SEAMAN I LEARNED A WHOLE LOT ABOUT THE NAVY AND ALL IM A SURFACE WARRIOR AND ALL.. BUT NOTHING I CAN BE PROUD OF BUT BEING A SHELLBACK ,SW AND HAVE MY OWN SEA STORIES IN THE REAL FLEET,, I KNOW I CAN TELL IM HARD IM TOUGH AND LAND LUVERS BE WARE,, SURFACE IS THE SHIT,, I CAN PROVIDE SOME SHELLBACK PIC
